Jesica Green
MS, MFT INTERN
Jesica is a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a background in nursing and a heart for helping people feel seen, supported, and understood. Before becoming a therapist, she spent several years as a registered nurse working in pediatric hematology/oncology, and surgery. That experience gave her a deep appreciation for the emotional toll that illness, caregiving, and life’s uncertainties can have, and it continues to shape the way she shows up for her clients today.
Jesica works with individuals ages 4 and up, as well as couples and families, who are navigating life transitions, chronic illness, grief, trauma, and neurodivergence. She has a special passion for walking alongside those who may never have had a safe space to explore their emotions or share their stories.
Her approach to therapy is rooted in attachment theory and informed by trauma-focused, person-centered, and emotion-focused perspectives. Jesica believes that healing happens in safe, trusting relationships, and she works hard to create a space where clients can come as they are without pressure to have it all figured out.
Jesica enjoys working with children, teens, and adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something to change. In session, she’s warm, collaborative, and real. She brings curiosity, compassion, and a gentle sense of humor, and she isn’t afraid to be direct when it helps move the work forward.
When she isn’t in session, Jesica enjoys beekeeping, running, reading just for fun, and riding motorcycles with her husband. At home, she’s kept company by a very opinionated cat who always makes life interesting.
