COUPLES THERAPY

Premarital Therapy

Premarital therapy is a process through which a couple who is engaged to be married will meet with a trained and licensed mental health therapist to navigate upcoming life transitions. Topics covered in premarital counseling may include conflict management, communication skills, financial responsibilities, and children and parenting duties. The State of Tennessee offers a $60 discount for couples who are applying for their marriage license and have completed at least 4 hours of premarital counseling.

Marriage and Relationship Therapy

Marriage and relationship therapy is a process through which a couple will meet with a trained and licensed mental health therapist to navigate through past, current, and future conflicts within the relationship. Sessions may include both members of the relationship meeting with their therapist or one-on-one meetings with their clinician. Topics typically covered within marriage and relationship therapy include conflict resolution, communication skills, and healing from relational trauma. Our clinicians understand how important relationships are and aim to create an environment where both members can feel supported and understood.
